Dead in the Water by Simon Bower

We’re thrilled to announce our latest book – an international crime suspense mystery from Simon Bower.

A female corpse floating in the warm harbour water on the Côte d’Azur. An unappreciated local detective, more acquainted with cases of petty vandalism than murder, is assigned to investigate – but he’s in failing health and time is against him. A New York mother finally discovers who her father is, but it would not be long before she would regret ever searching. A Geneva businessman lives the high life – but is he capable of sustaining it?  A down-on-his-luck Londoner finds love, lust and desire, but has he got the verve to prevail?

Eight lives become entangled in a dark international snare with no-one safe from danger.

Read the new international crime suspense mystery from Simon Bower. Order eBook or paperback from Amazon.co.uk today and Amazon sites globally.

Contact the author on Facebook or Twitter @simonbowerbooks. We love readers to leave reviews of our books on Goodreads and Amazon.

New kids’ book going into schools

The first in the Finding Your Way series has just been printed. Meet the Sad Skeleton, struggling to understand his feelings as he journeys through ‘Lifeland’, a magical place where the six ‘big’ feelings of sadness, fear, happiness, anger, disgust and surprise are waiting to be explored. Skelly is helped along the way by his good friend Dave the bat. Dave helps Skelly to find his way and so the magical adventure begins.

Modern family life can be complex and it could be argued that children today have to deal with more emotional pressures than ever before. The Finding Your Way series of books has been written by Kay Brophy – a counsellor and psychologist who specialises in working with children and families –  to help educate children about safe ways to express their feelings using fun characters and stories.
